With over 10 years of experience in the disability sector, specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Aubrey has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with a disability and their families. Liesel Randall is an experienced education assistant who has dedicated over 7 years of her career to working with the Department of Education. Throughout her career, Liesel has worked with a wide range of students with various physical and intellectual disabilities. Her expertise in identifying the unique needs of each person has enabled her to provide tailored support that has made a significant impact on her students' lives.
Liesel's compassionate heart for her students is evident in her work, and she always works towards ensuring that every child has access to an effective education, regardless of their special needs.
As a mother of two children, Liesel understands the stresses and challenges of raising children, which has given her a unique perspective in her work as an education assistant. Helen | Coordinator
Helen brings a decade of invaluable experience from the Department of Human Services and Social Services, where she dedicated herself to serving Australia's most vulnerable communities, ranging from job seekers to individuals facing various disabilities and complex cases.
During her tenure, Helen provided crucial support and assessment to clients grappling with mental health barriers. She also had the privilege of conducting research on institutions involved in addressing the profound issue of child sexual abuse, both directly and indirectly.
After her tenure with the government, Helen sought a change of scenery while remaining committed to community welfare. Transitioning into Youth Work, she passionately advocated for a diverse range of young people in state care, offering vital support amid their experiences of trauma and complex needs.
Additionally, Helen served as a Recovery Support Worker, extending compassionate assistance to individuals navigating homelessness, severe mental health issues, and substance abuse challenges. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in providing emotional support and guidance, fostering an environment conducive to personal recovery.
