NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission

The Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. It regulates NDIS providers, provides national consistency, promotes safety and quality services, resolves problems, and identifies areas for improvement. The Commission will take effect in Western Australia on July 1, 2020.

Companion Card WA

The Companion Card is a card issued to people with a significant and permanent disability who require attendant care support from a companion to participate at most venues and activities. If you hold a card and present it when booking or purchasing a ticket from a participating business, they will issue a second ticket for your companion at no charge.

Taxi User Subsidy Scheme

The Taxi User Subsidy Scheme (TUSS) is a subsidy available to certain eligible people living in Perth or Western Australia with disabilities who travel in taxis. To be eligible, a person must have a disability that will always prevent them from using conventional public transport, be either over ten years of age, or less than ten years of age, and use a wheelchair.
